A fresh way of looking at you and the consultation! More...
From April 2013 the London Deanery, along with NHS London, has been incorporated as part of the implementation of the Health and Social Care Act.
The responsibilities of the London Deanery have been taken on by three Local Education Training Boards (LETBs) covering all of London, who are themselves part of Health Education England, the new national leadership organisation responsible for ensuring that education, training, and workforce development drive the highest possible standards of public health and patient outcomes.
The three LETBs are Health Education North Central and East London,
Health Education North West London and Health Education South London.
All other former deaneries in England are being similarly reorganised into their local LETB structures.
A new Shared Service, hosted by Health Education South London, provides all three LETBs with specialty recruitment, clinician assessment, revalidation and other support services, and is co-located with them in Stewart House, on the campus of the University of London.
To reflect these changes, this website and the material accessible through it will be updated and amended over the period from now to 31 July 2013.
